Revenue-raising ideas sought for South Carolina airport

South Carolina's Horry County Department of Airports reached out to pilots and tenants this week for ideas on how to boost revenue for the Conway-Horry Airport, which it has been operating at a loss. The terminal had been the home of the North American Institute of Aviation since the 1970s, but the school went into bankruptcy earlier this year, and the department has been seeking proposals for a business to operate the facility since then.
