Paula Hayes, vice president of sales for Globus Family of Brands, offered suggestions to participants at a recent industry conference about the best ways to leverage social media, databases and other communication channels. Hayes said a client database is key. "This allows you to take a personal approach. Know when your clients are nearing life event like a big anniversary or a wedding, where they want to go next, what port they liked best on their last cruise and how they like to be contacted," she said.
