Retailer forecast indicates strong imports growth in 2010

Retailers' projections suggest that imports to the U.S. from Asia will remain robust through at least the peak shipping season this fall. Ports from California to Georgia are seeing substantial expansion. "We just had our sixth consecutive month of double-digit growth, and we are on pace for the 2010 calendar year to be a record for us," said Curtis Foltz, executive director of the Georgia Ports Authority.
