Veggie Project brings farmers markets to needy areas

Vanderbilt University's Veggie Project brings farmers markets to Nashville-area communities with few grocery stores and poor produce selection. The program also seeks to address childhood obesity, family nutrition and food security issues. Adults and children who work with the program can earn veggie bucks to buy fresh produce.
