Tours of B-17 bomber to be offered in Illinois

Logan County Airport in Lincoln, Ill., hosts a weekly meeting on Wednesday mornings for pilots in the region. One of them, World War II pilot Ernest Thorp, was recently inducted into the Military Aviation Hall of Fame. Tours of a B-17 bomber, the type of plane he flew, will be offered at the airport this weekend. "It's a piece of living history," pilot Bob Davis said of the bomber.
