Argentina's chefs are empanada experts

Cultures around the world have their own version of the meat pie, and one of the most popular iterations -- the empanada -- can be found in Latin America. The small pies are especially plentiful in Argentina and Uruguay. Argentina's small-sized pies are filled with stir-fried beef, local vegetables such as sweet corn and spicy fish and either baked or fried.
