Educators, game designers aim to engage girls in math, science

Educators and game designers recently gathered at the Northeastern University Seattle campus to launch a project aimed at creating games that keep girls interested in math and science. The group plans to develop about 20 prototype games. "We're fusing the idea of fun and education in a much more sophisticated way these days," said Kate Fisher, community manager for the University of Washington's Center for Game Science.
