Investor group brings CODA back to market after restructuring

Electric car manufacturer CODA Automotive has emerged from bankruptcy and is doing business as CODA Energy after its acquisition by an investor group led by Fortress Investment Group. The new company, which is being co-managed by Ed Solar and Pete Nortman, will focus on marketing a suite of scalable energy storage solutions called "CODA Core." "CODA Energy will be laser-focused on engineering innovative products that help our end-users solve challenges in the field and realize a positive return on investment," Solar and Nortman said in a news release.
