"Invisible wall" holds back global innovation

Switzerland remains the world's most innovative place, followed by Sweden, the U.K., the Netherlands and the U.S., according to INSEAD's Global Innovation Index for 2013. The ranking suggests that a core group of about 25 countries remain highly innovative, with the rest in a rut creatively, says study co-author Bruno Lanvin.
