L'Oreal's entrepreneurship programs boost retention, exec says

L'Oreal's Michael Larrain says his experience at startups helped him develop an entrepreneurship program at L'Oreal where teams of employees are given eight weeks to develop and pitch an idea for improving the company. The program and others like it have helped propel talented workers into leadership positions and to improve retention, particularly among young employees who want career-development opportunities, Larrain says.
