More business schools emphasize language learning

Learning a second language has increasingly become an important part of business schools' graduate programs, editor and author Matt Symonds writes in this guest post. He highlights one program in which students enroll in an introductory language module followed by a study abroad program. "The idea is to enable graduates to operate comfortably in a business environment in at least one new language, but the school also actively encourages them to go the extra mile and acquire familiarity with a third or even fourth," he writes.
