Occupy Wall Street-related Twitter activity runs out of gas

The Occupy Wall Street movement relied on Twitter to perpetuate itself and rally its supporters, but users have largely lost interest, researchers say. A study found that the most vocal of the original Occupy ringleaders seldom post about Occupy-related subjects, resulting in the "near-complete abandonment" of the social network by Occupy activists.
