Past Kettle Award winners share their insights

Eleven winners of the Kettle Award from Candy Industry, from companies including Jelly Belly Candy Co., Ferrara Pan Candy Co., R.M. Palmer Co., Spangler Candy Co. and more, discussed their views of sugar reform, front-of-pack labels, the Sweets & Snacks EXPO, and the challenges of finding technically skilled workers. "Obesity is an issue that will not go away by ignoring it," said Bill Kelley of Jelly Belly Candy Co., who won the award in 2006. "Everyone is better off if we acknowledge the problem and address it."
