Sequestration could affect NextGen funding, Huerta says

According to a report by the Federal Aviation Administration, NextGen is expected to reduce airline delays 41% by 2020. However, sequestration cuts may affect funding for the FAA NextGen program. "Because of the financial uncertainty, we can hope for the best, but we have to plan for the worst," said FAA Administrator Michael Huerta. "This is not a sustainable course of action, and it's no way to run a government."
