Southwest and DISH to provide customers with live TV

Southwest will offer its customers free access to 14 live TV channels and 75 on-demand TV shows on their mobile devices in partnership with DISH. DISH will cover the cost of the service in exchange for advertisements that will be featured on Southwest confirmation e-mails and airport signs, as well as in a 30-second spot before the free TV begins. The partnership also rewards Southwest passengers with frequent-flier miles if they purchase DISH's Hopper DVR.
