Study: Thin spoons make yogurt taste better

An Oxford University study found that people's perceptions about the taste of yogurt change when they eat with plastic spoons of varying weights or colors. People thought yogurt tasted creamier and "more expensive" when they ate with a light-weight plastic spoon and that it tasted sweetest when eaten with a white or light-colored spoon, the study revealed. Researchers hope to use the findings to help people with weight-loss efforts.
