Facebook announced Tuesday that it will allow deep linking to applications directly from ads, a move that strengthens its AppLink.org initiative to promote deep links. The practice provides seamless app-to-app transitions, but tech company URX reports that only 22% of the top 200 mobile apps have corresponding deep link tags on their websites.
