Google buys custom music playlist creator Songza

Google has purchased Songza, a streaming music service that creates playlists based on real-time information such as listener location, time of day and the day of the week. Google may integrate Songza's personalization and recommendation technology into the existing Google Play Music service, its forthcoming YouTube streaming music service or other non-music applications.
