Mass. alternative middle school helps students get back on track

A new alternative middle school in Massachusetts targets the behaviors of students that often lead to disciplinary issues and students' needs for a different placement. Resiliency Middle School, which was launched in February, awarded students who stayed in class with field trips later in the school year, and graduated half its eighth-graders to a traditional high school.
