New York City on Sunday saw over 1 million people turn out for its annual LGBT Pride parade. "Orange is the New Black" actress Laverne Cox, who marshaled the parade, spoke alongside Delores Nettles, whose transgender daughter, Islan Nettles, was slain in the city in August. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Mayor Bill de Blasio and Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, D-N.Y., were among those who marched in the parade.
