U.S. cattle farmers worry about effect of reopening Canadian border

Anticipating a downward push on beef prices if the border is reopened to Canadian beef exports, many U.S. cattle farmers are worried about the overall effect of lifting the ban. U.S. beef prices soared when the government banned the importation of Canadian beef in May, following the discovery of a BSE-infected cow.
