Cruise lines reevaluating, altering policies on alcohol sales

Negative publicity related to missing and unruly passengers who were under the influence of alcohol, has prompted cruise lines to look into and in some cases change their alcohol policies. Underage drinking has become a particular focus following the death of a 15-year-old girl. The girl plunged to her death after persuading bartenders on the Costa Magica cruise ship to serve her four or five alcoholic beverages.
