Officials: Minnesota bridge needs replacement following repairs

Officials in Hennepin County, Minn., say a century-old bridge that underwent repairs two years ago needs to be replaced. The $3.8 million repair was intended to extend the bridge's life for 20 years, but a federal formula to analyze data on a bridge's condition indicates that the Lowry Avenue Bridge had a deficient rating in five of the last 11 years.
