Report weighs socioeconomic methods to maintain diversity

As a National Academy of Education report praises race-conscious desegregation policies as "the most effective means of achieving racial diversity," many schools are looking to socioeconomic methods to maintain diversity in the wake of last week's U.S. Supreme Court decision. A new Century Foundation report examines such methods already in place in a dozen U.S. school districts.
