Concrete drivers' strike brings top NYC projects to a halt

Large construction projects came to a halt around New York City on Tuesday when more than 400 concrete-mixer drivers unexpectedly went on strike. High-profile projects including the Freedom Tower and the new Yankee Stadium were affected, and concrete companies say they expect the strike to last at least through Monday and possibly much longer.
