Analysis: Disappearing jobs might point to lost decade

Many economists think the next figures to be released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics will show that 363,000 jobs were lost in the country last month. That would mean the number of people working today is about the same as in May 2000. If an additional million jobs are gone by the end of this year, an entire decade of expansion in employment will have been swept away.
