Obesity rates up, especially among aging boomers

U.S. researchers reported the number of obese adults increased in 23 states over the past year with Mississippi again scoring the highest obesity rate in the nation. The data shows that in 31 states, more than 25% of adults are obese, and data from every state showed higher obesity rates for those ages 55 to 64 compared with those ages 65 and older.
