Special educator prepares students with disabilities for college

Helen Waldron, 44, became interested in special education in college while tutoring students with undiagnosed learning disabilities. Now she is an administrator at a private school that offers college-prep programs for teens with learning disabilities. "The hardest part is gaining their trust," she says. "These are students who are really bright but who struggle to get their ideas out in written form."
