Florida county waives adoption fees for microchipped cats

The Orange County Animal Services agency is offering to forgo adoption fees on kittens and cats when the new owners opt to register the animal's microchip at the shelter, the Orlando Sentinel reports. According to AVMA data, cats with microchips are reunited with their owners nearly 40% of the time.
