Katz Media reports robust Q3 ad sales for radio outlets

National spot radio ad sales are looking strong in the third quarter, according to a report just out from Katz Media. The company says July, August and September sales are pacing ahead by 13%, 16% and 28%, respectively. The traditional core radio categories of retail, auto, telecom, consumer products and professional services apparently are leading the way.
