"Top Chef" says school nutrition bill is critical for nation

Tom Colicchio of Bravo's "Top Chef" TV program told House lawmakers that the $8 billion federal nutrition program bill is critical for the nation's health. A researcher for the conservative Heritage Foundation countered that schools should be able to make their own decisions about what children eat and that some programs in the bill have not been adequately studied.
