Virgin America on-target for 2010 profit

Virgin America is "gearing up for major growth this year," says CEO David Cush, and this week's new service to Toronto is just a precursor of things to come. Despite intense competition at its San Francisco base, Cush says business travelers make up about half of Virgin America's clientele. First-quarter revenue jumped 46% in spite of higher fuel prices, and Cush says the airline is on track to report an operating profit in 2010.
