Microblogging can make brands more accessible and help boost consumer trust -- but their effect varies enormously across cultures, according to a recent study. A whopping 95% of Chinese consumers trusted companies more if they maintained a microblogging presence, compared with 22% of U.S. consumers and just 14% of U.K. consumers.
