Weak reports revive fears about double-dip recession

Some economists express heightened fears of a double-dip recession and others may revise their growth forecasts for the third quarter in the wake of a number of disappointing reports. Climbing unemployment figures may worsen after Congress' inability to pass an extension of jobless benefits, and a 30% decline in May home sales after the expiration of a federal homebuyers' tax credit.
