Travel agents can improve their productivity amid the multitude of activities they need to do each day by listing tasks according to priority and adhering to that list, says Jeff Davidson, executive director of the Breathing Space Institute. Agents should also seek to limit their multitasking, especially in the age of mobile technology and strive to separate their personal lives from their work needs, Davidson says. "You need to not be 'on' all the time. Human physiology is [such that] we are not wired to be 'on' all the time," Davidson said.
