9 Okla. schools targeted for academic improvement

Nine Oklahoma schools have been identified by the State Board of Education as "C3" schools that need to improve academic performance. State workers will partner with officials at the College, Career and Citizen Ready schools to improve their standards. The schools were chosen from a list of 86 "priority schools" identified as lagging academically by federal education officials.
