Beware of booking foreign flights through airline partners

Fliers should be careful when purchasing tickets for foreign flights on their U.S. carriers' partner websites. The partner flights can be more expensive or may not list all available routes. Also, frequent flier tickets may not be able to be booked with foreign partners or may need to be booked on the phone.
