Brazil posts biggest trade deficit since 1995

Brazil ran up a $3 billion trade deficit from January to June, its biggest shortfall since 1995, according to the Ministry of Development. Foreign trade shrank 66.2% compared with the first half of 2012. Foreign Trade Secretary Tatiana Prazeres said the trade balance began to recover in May and June.
