Cargill considers purchasing ADM cocoa, source says

Cargill is said to be exploring the purchase of the cocoa division of Archer Daniels Midland, prompting questions on how it will affect the cocoa market. Cargill, ADM and Barry Callebaut account for approximately 40% of the world's cocoa market, and one industry observer said he ruled Barry Callebaut out as a potential buyer because of its very recent purchase of Petra.
