Easter sales hopped higher in 2013

Despite this year's shorter-than-usual Easter season, with just 44 days between Valentine's Day and Easter, chocolate sales rose 2% and non-chocolate confectionery sales increased 3.3%, according to Symphony IRI data presented in an NCA webinar. In 2014, there will be 65 days between the two holidays.
