FAA initiates probe into how Mich. uses its planes

The Federal Aviation Administration, with the cooperation of the Michigan Department of Transportation and Michigan State University, has launched a preliminary investigation into the practice of leasing state-owned planes to MSU. The state's fleet is available to all state employees, and employees at the state's 15 public universities. MSU coaches Tom Izzo and Mark Dantonio are MSU's two most frequent fliers.
