House bill would put ASC reimbursement on par with that of hospitals

Ambulatory surgery centers would get the same annual Medicare reimbursement rate hospitals receive under a bill sponsored by Reps. John Larson, D-Conn., and Devin Nunes, R-Calif. The bill would also require ASC representation on the CMS advisory panel and would require disclosure of criteria used to exclude a procedure from the approved list.
