European stocks took a downward turn Tuesday, in part due to a surprisingly low U.K. construction report. The Stoxx Europe 600 ended the day 0.40% lower at 287.13. In the U.S., shares were down marginally, with the S&P 500 losing 0.05% to 1,614.08 on worrying signs of unrest in Egypt and ahead of Friday's jobs report. Here is a continuously updated list of global stock indexes.
