NPR talks to Geena Davis about women in Hollywood

Academy Award-winning actor Geena Davis recently spoke with NPR's Jacki Lyden about the lack of women characters in film. Davis pointed out that popular films depicting women are often hailed as groundbreaking before fading from the public consciousness. "Every time there's a movie starring women, the media is very excited to say, well, this changes everything ... and nothing changed," she said.
