United's latest mobile app update enables rebooking

United Airlines announced an upcoming update for its smartphone application that will allow passengers to change their itineraries in case of a flight delay or cancellation. United also said it plans to introduce mobile boarding pass scanning capabilities at all domestic airports it serves by fall this year.
