Vision problems remain an obstacle to learning in some parts of China

In this blog post, Johan Rocha, a 2012 Teach For China Fellow, writes about the learning challenges faced by some students in China, who may never know that they need glasses. "How can you learn if you can't see?" he asks. To help students overcome this challenge, the nonprofit See Beyond Sight programme was launched by a group of Teach For China alumni to offer vision screenings -- and corrective lenses, if necessary -- to students in the country, Rocha writes.
