Companies tread carefully when targeting weight-loss issues

Companies find they have to be careful when offering weight-loss programs or talking about weight issues with employees who might not be receptive or feel it is too intrusive. Anne Ohrt of software firm Geonetric said the company has a number of weight-related initiatives, such as encouraging people to use stairs and serving food on smaller plates, but is careful not to target just one thing or make anyone feel singled out.
