N.J. 5th-graders learn history by interviewing, writing about the elderly

Students from a N.J. elementary school interviewed and wrote about local senior citizens as part of the school's "Connecting With the Past" program. During one visit, elderly community members brought examples of technology from the past, such as a rotary phone, and discussed party- and private-telephone lines.
