Testosterone Tx does not raise MI risk in seniors, research finds

Researchers report in the Annals of Pharmacotherapy that older men who were on testosterone therapy did not exhibit higher odds of myocardial infarction compared with those not using testosterone. Previous studies have suggested there might be a connection between testosterone use and MI. The current research looked at 6,355 patients who had been treated at least once with testosterone and 19,065 who had not.
