Youths are sidestepping age restrictions on social media, research shows

Students increasingly are getting around age restrictions on social media sites, such as Facebook, which restricts access by those under 13, according to a recent study. The findings by the National Literacy Trust in the U.K. are seen as a cause for concern for those worried that young students could be exposed to inappropriate material or otherwise be affected.
